Why Acclaim Nailz exists
After a painful, low quality salon visit left me questioning why nail care felt like a chore, I decided to create something different.
I enrolled at Elite Nail School in Madison, WI, becoming certified on June 27, 2019. A date that will always matter to me (my grandmother’s birthday).
Since then, i’ve learned one key truth: long, healthy nails are possible with the right products, knowledge, and care.
At Acclaim Nailz, I only use gentle gels and nourishing skincare products because they keep nails flexible, strong, and thriving-without the damage often caused by improper removal.
why clients choose us:
Waterless services for a cleaner, more eco-friendly approach.
Only gel, never acrylic or dip (by choice, not limitation).
Custom nail health plans based on your goals.
A warm, one-on-one experience. Never rushed, always focused on care!
Your hands are your first introduction to the world. Let’s make sure they tell the story you want.
FAQ – Acclaim Nailz

At Acclaim Nailz, your health, nail integrity, and the planet come first. Waterless pedicure techniques allow me to provide a safer, cleaner, and more sustainable service by:
Reducing infection risks – No soaking tubs means no chance of bacteria from improperly cleaned basins.
Ensuring top-tier sanitation – Tools and surfaces are easier to fully disinfect between clients.
Protecting polish longevity – Avoiding water prevents nails from over-expanding, which can cause premature chipping or lifting of gel.
Accommodating health needs – Perfect for clients with conditions like diabetes, minimizing the risk of unnoticed cuts or injuries. Soaking, particularly in hot water, can dry out the skin, making it more prone to cracking and creating entry points for bacteria. Instead, I focus on products that restore moisture and elasticity to keep skin healthy, supple, and protected.
Supporting sustainability – Skipping the soak saves gallons of water per service, making it gentler on the environment.
The result? A service that’s luxurious, eco-conscious, and healthier for both you and your nails.

I specialize exclusively in gentle gel nail services — no acrylic, dip, or regular polish. This allows me to perfect my craft and give your nails the healthiest, longest-lasting results possible. I use professional-grade, non-toxic gel systems and customize each service to your nail goals, whether that’s growth, strength, or design.

Yes, but only using damage-free removal methods. I take extra care to protect your natural nails. If your current product was applied elsewhere, I’ll assess it first and recommend the safest way forward.
-
Please arrive with bare nails if possible, or book a removal service along with your appointment. Avoid cutting your cuticles at home — I’ll take care of that safely. If you’re getting nail art, feel free to bring inspiration photos.

Most clients enjoy 2–4 weeks of flawless wear, depending on lifestyle and nail growth. I’ll recommend a personalized aftercare plan so you can get the longest wear without lifting or damage.

Yes! Helping clients grow and restore short or bitten nails is one of my specialties. I create personalized nail recovery plans using cuticle care, strengthening gels, and gentle techniques to encourage healthy growth.
However, certain types of nail damage — such as severe infections or conditions requiring medical attention — will need to be treated by a healthcare professional before we can begin services.

Absolutely. I use products that are Hema-free or low-Hema, vegan, and cruelty-free whenever possible. My priority is your safety and comfort, and I’m always happy to explain what’s in the products I use.

While I love little ones, appointments are a time for you to relax and for me to focus fully on your nails. For safety and comfort, I recommend arranging childcare before your visit.

I follow all Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS) guidelines, which state that nail professionals cannot work on nails that are infected, inflamed, broken, or swollen and should never provide services to clients with bacterial or fungal infections. If you have painful nails, signs of infection, or open wounds, I will not be able to provide services until the issue has been resolved. This is to protect both your health and my ability to operate safely within state regulations.
